IVCA Certification Exam
Students must have successfully completed an IVCA approved basic course before sitting the IVCA certification exam. As of January 1st 2012, successful completion of the IVCA certification exam is a prerequisite to IVCA membership.

IVCA Certification Exam Format

Please note that all exams are conducted in English or German.
Written Paper:
This is a multiple choice question paper.
Practical Exam:
Students are required to set up for a given selection of listings (including upper cervical, cervicals, thoracolumbar, sacropelvic and extremities) on both the dog and horse.
Students will then be given a case scenario for the dog or horse. Students will be examined  and accessed on their ability dealing with the case.

IVCA Certification Exam Syllabus

All topics studied at an IVCA approved basic course may be included in the IVCA certification exam (including: anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, relevant pathology, physiology, rehabilitation, ethics, philosophy and legalities and all listings).

IVCA Certification Exam Dates

Certification Exams are usually held the day after the provider's end of course exams at the same location as the school.

IVCA Certification Exam Costs

The cost of taking the IVCA certification exams are as follows:
